While I respect reason, or man’s capacity for rational thought, I cannot elevate it above all else. Our perceptions inform our reason, and our perceptions are subjective. Thus, all “rational thought” is constrained and subjective. We are finite beings, incapable of all-encompassing thought. Elevating reason of all is fallacious reasoning in itself. Human reason is not absolute.
